It is a terrible feeling to know that you were once so close to someone that they knew you inside out and all of your secrets. And now all you have are the memories of what once was.
The human mind truly is an amazing thing.
The way people cope with sadness and the variation of ways to express it is remarkable.
Or how the mind can lock things up and give you little reminders that you don’t pick up.
To thing oh I like this but not have a clue why.
My brain has been doing that a lot lately, every time I see a sock monkey it reminds me straight back to Dallas. The suitable hints would be my fascination with buying every color shirt, loving the Dino pillow pet, wanting to dye my hair bright colors, and most of all feeling the need to join a sorority… Feeling like a whole was filled when I realized I had the opportunity to have more sisterhood relationships like the one we shared.
No one will ever be able to take away the memorizes I have of you the good and the bad or understand how much I miss you.
But I know you made me who I am today and made me stronger because of it. RIP

As of tomorrow, I will be a member of the Zeta Tau Alpha Women’s Fraternity. Think Pink, Think Greek, Go ZTA!
We’re founding members of this VCU chapter and will be more than just a sorority; we’ll be the best.

I am just so damn bitter. I cannot help it. I need something to distract me. To get my mind off of all the negative and on to something positive. I am trying to move on but the constant reminder is something I just can’t seem to get past this time.
